2150 Carburator info

I recently inherited a 2150 with a 15HP Kohler eng. I'm trying to locate a carb for it but I'm not sure what brand carburator is on it now. There are no markings on the carb. Does anyone have any idea what brand it might be.

2150 series
8276G3
Mod 136-242-100

Kohler 15 hp OHV
Family SKH426U1G2FA
Mod CH155 or CH15S (the last digit is not clear)

Any help would be appreciated, Spring is just around the corner

Why are you replacing it?

I'm replacing it because the small plastic "clip" (gray in color) that holds the throttle cable broke. I have not been able to find a replacement "clip". Especially since I have no idea what carb is on this engine. Any suggestions are welcome.

Check the cub cadet site, you can download the service manual and possibly the parts manual as well. They had both for my tractor, you will need the model and serial number... you can download in pdf format.

I think some Kohler carbs are made with plastic components originally but have steel replacement parts. I'm not familiar with the Cub/Kohler design. You already know the two most important parts on a Kohler... the model and family #'s.

Thanks for everyones replies. I went to the Cub Cadet web site and could not find any info pertaining to my model # tractor. My model # is 136-242-100 the only info I could find is for a model # 136-242-G100. Could anyone tell me if this is the same machine? Also, the manufacture date is 8276G3. Am I to assume this was made in 1982? I plan on calling Cub Cadet tomorrow for more nfo. Again, Thanks for your replies

Google "parts tree" and look up your model there. Look under garden tractors and then under model 2150. It has all the dealer parts breakdowns. You should be able to find the part you need. I don't buy much from there, but I use their diagrams to find part numbers a lot.
