I've been wrestling with doing this for two years. Can you enlighten us on the decision process you went through on the Titan versus other offerings such as a pin-on?

Looking forward to docs and pics :)

/edit
Looking at the "tutorial" Shop Stuff it seems like it would be a good 2 day, 16 hour or so project for an experienced welder just to put the "pin on to ssqa" attachment on.

I'm not sure what pin on offerings you are talking about.

Newbury, I've reviewed that link "shop stuff" and have been in touch with him. It wouldn't surprise me for it to take 16 hours.

Offerings like Everything Attachments - W.R. Long Quick Attach Adapter for Pin on Tractor Loaders sell.

And for my M4700 my Virginia dealer looked it up and said he had a "2 lever" QA adapter for ~$600, but I suspect it was a Kubota specific and have not followed up on it.

Ok, thanks Newbury. I saw those early in my research. Too expensive for me. But I'm sure they would work great and I wouldn't have to fabricate and weld.

But I like to make stuff.

I will have some head scratching to do on this project because my loader arms are only 29.5 " center to center
But I'll post more about that as I go along.

Oh. Btw, the $315 I have into the parts includes the weld on ssqa plate for the bucket too. If I bought the pin on adapter from ETA along with their weld on plate for over $200 then more possibly for shipping.

I bought the Kubota 2 lever adaptor that was made to fit on the L3400 for $400. The SSQA plate was $125 So $525.00

I am looking for this to fit on a 1200 loader or a 1700. I have both. When I started this, nothing was available for the small tractors. having a 743 Bobcat I knew how useful this would be. Local Kubota dealer has suggested 450.00. Then he remembered to add shipping. I left. Always had Titan in mind when they just shipped the right and left boxes.

I'm going to convert my pin on bucket to SSQA.
If you change loader implements a lot, you'll love it when you get it finished

Just ordered a plate and conversion quick attach from Titan. Will post back when parts come in ...
I ordered just the brackets only from Titan and used some rectangular tube to raise pin brackets from my bucket up off the Titan SSQA brackets, to minimize the stick out beyond the pins, which reduces lift capacity.

The rectangular tube I used as a spacer looks to be about 1" thick and puts the brackets from the bucket just flush with the back of the pipe that holds the capture/release pins on the Titan SSQA brackets.

Used a piece of Schedule 80 pipe - probably 1" or 1 1/8" - as the cross member to tie the two brackets together ...

I'm going to cut the pin on ears out of my bucket. The plate will cover the rectangular holes.
I really wish I had gone that route, rather than trying to cut the brackets off the back of the bucket ... would have saved a whole bunch of time and as you say: the SSQA plate will cover the holes.

I started a thread on the build but never got around to updating it - here's a pic of the finished item, with the shrub bucket I built, mounted:

Nice job rswyan.

The kit with the spacers and cross bar were $40 more than just the two latches. I may not use all of it.

Nice job Jay. Where did you source your parts for the latches?

I bought the steel from a local supplier, the springs and bolts from tractor supply. The mechanisms are pieced together from various things. Bolts, bushings, springs, washers etc

I received the parts today. I have to mount it a little differently because my loader arms are 29.5" on center.

I'm going to switch the right and left side with each other and switch the handles. I haven't cut or welded anything yet. Still measuring and mocking it up. Some pics .

In the first pic, the 2x4 shows the width of the loader arms 29.5" c to c, 32.5" outside to outside.

In the following picture, I have piece of hardboard to mark clearances. This is where I will need to weld a 3x3" tube to space the loader arms, back for clearance of the arms when curling.

In this pic, I have marked the 3x3" tube where I need to cut out for the pin and handle clearance.

I will cut out the ears from the bucket and weld them to the 3x3" tubes. The outside edge of each ear will overhang the 3x3's by about 3/4" on the outside.

Cutting these 3x3 will take some of the meat out of them, so I will probably put some angle iron to bridge from them over the springs and pins back to the plates of the quick attach brackets.

Anyone see any problems with this approach yet?

Looking good! Good pics.

Are you keeping track of your time involved in doing the mock up?
