I have done searches on this forum and the Internet, but haven't been able to find any useful info on a cab that fits a 2310.

I'm not sure I really need or want one, but am interested in knowing what's available.

Does anyone have a picture, link, or price?

Thanks,
Jay

Curtis makes one that's available only through your MF dealer for the 2300. Don't know about the 2310 since the ROPS is higher and you need access to the rear.

I just looked on the SIMS website, the Curtis website and the Jodele-Perry website and did not see your tractor listed...you might try calling them to verify.

Thanks for the links. I'll make a few calls to see what's available, and what they cost.

After looking at some of the prices for other machines, I'll probably just put up with being exposed to the elements for this winter....

Last month I fired an email to Curtis asking if they made a cab for a 2310 and a price quote. Didn't get a reply yet.

Sent same thing to Sims and they said they don't make one, and don't have plans to make one for the 2310.

Check out this link...Tractor Cab - Universal Tractor Cab

Looks like it would fit, pic's show it on a bunch of different deere's and kubota's.

That looks like an interesting option. I'll have to do some measuring to see if it will fit with the higher ROPS on the 2310.

I also wonder how long they will last?

I ask because in looking at portable garages, I have found some that would be disposable after a year and others that look like they would survive many years.

One problem with a cab on a 2310, the air intake for the radiator comes in from below the steering wheel by your feet. If you put on a cab you would have to redirect the air or you would pull cold air through the cab.

Doh!

Just woke up to the little detail that I have a rear mount snowblower with a manual crank chute rotator.

That would be a little difficult with a cab attached.

Thats no problem........ just convert to a hydraulic chute rotator. And chute deflector if you so desire ! Its ONLY money !

No cab is compatable with backhoe, so you need to remove it to run backhoe.

Curtis cab is solid, heavy, and bolted on. On the bad side it's like $2000 and looks like a lot of work to get on/off.

On a smaller tractor, I've snowblowed with a cab (cheap $200 Sears brand) and without. The difference is HUGE.

Drawback to those cheap cabs is they are not as durable, not sealed well, look like crap. Windshield (plastic sheeting) can get fogged up too.

You won't stay warm, but you can still sip your coffee while snowblowing and stay bone dry :D
