Wayne,
For reference..... i have the 2007 wholegoods list on my computer (found it here somewhere last year). The 2007 list price for the B2733 is $752.00. If you know someone who paid $650, it must have been quite awhile ago. In my experience, prices have gone up at least 10% since the 07 wholegoods list was printed, so with that in mind plus shipping i'm figuring that would put the quick hitch above $850. I know when i was looking for the hydraulic chute deflector for my blower, i was quoted prices $130 - $150 above the price in my 07 wholegoods list from several dealers.

With all that in mind, i could only suggest burning up the number keys on your phone to find a dealer who has an old stock B2733 in stock and hope they sell it to you @ last years price (especially since its now obsolete).

Also, if you are only looking to use your plow, and not add a blower or sweeper down the road, could a welding / steel fab shop adapt your L quick hitch for less money? Though this scenario may not allow you to use the mid PTO in the future.........

If it all doesn't work out i might be interested in your plow if you wanted to seperate it from the QH.... :D

Yea I went up to Tilton yesterday and Art looked up the price and it was right at $900.00 no room for talking on it. Also for my tractor the 2733A requires ordering another drive shaft for the snowblower attachment as the one with the kit will not work. I am not interested in that so it is a no care. Called Milford today and Dave gave me a price of $795 for the kit so your idea of burning up the phone numbers is going in the right direction.

As for getting a frame welded up I am considering that. I do have the L02072 frame but that is for a larger tractor either the L or M series. Naturally, I put it off all summer and now it is starting to show signs of temperature drop I am thinking I better do something before snow flies. Typical Wayne!

I did put the plow and subframe up for sale on Craig痴 list and had a couple calls on it, but no one showed up at the door with money in hand. Offered it for $900.00 which I felt was a fair price.

We will see what happens, if nothing else it will sit next to the other implements waiting for me to do something.

Thanks for the information though!

Wayne

Sounds likes someone is trying to use old wholegoods kits on new tractors. The quick hitch for the B20-series is the 2733A, the 2733 will not fit properly. The A designates some minor changes. The drive shafts are also different than what was old the old B-10's.

Well, I was told the hitch could stay mounted and not interfere with the loader operation. <...>

I'm correcting myself on this issue :) I was looking through the B2733A quick hitch manual and it specifically says not to attempt mounting the loader with the quick hitch installed. My salesman was wrong to tell me it would work. There is a brace between the loader supports that gets removed to install the hitch.

My dealer said the B2733A quick hitch is not available yet. They expect to have them in by mid December. I wonder if they are giving me the run around.

It may be in short supply, but it is available. It's installed on my 2620 out in the barn right now.

CJBOTA,

See my post under Kubota buying and pricing. Front mount implements for these tractors are very hard to come by. My new tractor deal has become a total nightmare. If I new what a problem this was going to be I would probably not bought the tractor. My dealer says that he does not know when they will get all my front mount implements, but he figures next year some time, maybe not until November or December. This is a far cry from him telling me that they had them at the warehouse and it would only take a week or two to have them shipped out to the dealership.

I have the B2733 on a B7610, I found a BX2537 rotary broom for sale locally and wondering if anyone has heard of installing a BX series rotary broom on the B2733 quick hitch, let alone a B series tractor? There is a huge price difference between the B series rotary broom and the BX series rotary broom...

I would speculate that the broom should fit....... since the snowblowers interchange between BX and B. Any chance you could bring your quick hitch with you when you look at the broom? You could test fit by sliding the QH into the broom to be sure it fits.

Thanks for the info, went and looked at broom today and bought, no driveline shafts though, any leads?
