We had no "fall back" in Indiana until the last couple of years. Studies following the change showed no energy savings - in fact, energy use went up. The winning arguement was "everyone else is doing it." Count me in.

The sun is supposed to be straight south at noon. Being on the western edge of the eastern time zone, it is not straight south until 2:00P.M. in the summer. It is light out until 10:00P.M. and the kids won't go to sleep. In the fall, we fall back. We just fell back this weekend and I came home from work and had to rake leaves in the dark. Stupid, stupid, stupid. NO to DST.
