I was looking for a way to mount a small telescopic shovel on the tractor along with a stainless steel poker I made just in case I need to use it to unclog the blower some time in the coming winter.
Problem number one was not having any room in the cab to store the stuff and problem number two if I store it outside I need some kind of holding clamp that will work easy, not rust and handle the vibrations back there.

Found it. It's called the Quick Fist. All heavy duty grade rubber. Great for extreme cold or heat and won't rust plus it's easy to use.

OK. I know it's not ground breaking but I thought there might be some of you that would find this interesting and might use the clamp idea for something! :D

Over here in Oz you can get them from chandlers (boating supplies). I have some of them to keep :"stuff" attached to my little aluminium fishing boat! Great bit of gear.

There are also others - I have some "Snapper" mounts - which are purpose designed for 1" tube. They cost very little and come with adhesive mounts.

They are great, and I thank you for posting about them because even though I use the darn things, it never occurred to me to use them on the tractor!

I'd love to find them someplace other than either a boat shop or a tractor shop though! Both those things mean more $$'s than is needed!

Cheers

Thanks, 4shorts! I just ordered some from Sutton; I've been looking for something other than nylon tie-wraps for some time, and these look like they'll be perfect. (Not just for your tractor anymore....):)

We use those on our fire trucks to mount axes, pike poles, etc. They work very well.
