Snow Let's see your snow removal equipment

No OEM or Aftermarket cab available so this is what I use. Not pretty but it keeps me dry and warm.

Thanks Wayne!!! Plexi is on the bench and ready to cut to fit. I need to notch both sides to go around the canopy brackets tho. How's the best way to cut the plexi without splitting it? Jigsaw, hacksaw? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay, sort-of forgot about this posting! I went ahead and drilled to small holes at the inside stop location and then used a jigsaw to cut out the unwanted plexi.

Then I drilled small holes and used tie-wraps to secure the sides to the ROPS. I have used the same plexiglas for three years now so it has held up and there are little if any scratches on it.

FINALLY (nevere got any pics last winter)-- got the FEL off, blower on .... This is the set-up that shaved my snow removal time by almost 70%.

Here is my low cost snow plow. I took an old 6 foot Western snow plow ($100), welded up a bracket and mounted it to the frame of the loader (after I removed the loader). Rather than running the hydraulics off the tractor, I used the plow mounted hydraulic pump and simply wired in a control switch running to the battery. The plow works great and is not so far out in front like the loader mounted plows. Does everything I need to do.

Picked up this older Woods SB 52 a couple months ago, pretty good shape. Repainted it with 2 part epoxy paint with rust inhibitor now just waiting to try it out.
