I think the best tasting it gets is when its been in freezer and you take it out and it thaws for a few min. but still real cold, just seems tastier and more juicey.

Greenmule, your user name is making more sense to me every time you post.;)

Well,I"m just trying to give him more perserverance[learned that word on a clint eastwood movie, they didn't show how to spell it though].

He has to endeaver to persavere.

He'll have bumps along this road of nicatine independance,he needs to be prepared for what lays ahead.:)

Hunterridgefarm, congrads on quitting or at least attempting to. I too chewed Cope for 10 plus years and quit cold turkey many years ago:mad:. I quit for over a year and one day though to myself, if I could only chew a can or two a week I'd be fine. Well for the last 7 years I've been chewing 3-4 cans a week. My suggestion, if you can quit, NEVER try another dip again:eek:. I've not had the erge to quit again but I know that if I do, it will have to be for good, not even a single dip or I'll end back up where I'm at.
Best of luck

Now, I've never dipped, chewed, or rubbed, but many people whom I have known who did said that they had teeth and gum problems. I suspect that dental issues are a "push" by comparison and maybe even a little advantage to peppermints.

Also, I pick up a bag of peppermints in Walmart when I'm there. Sam's quit carrying the Brachs Starlights and now carries an off-brand. I suspect I spend at least $100 per year on peppermints. That's more along the lines of what retired people like me and Bird can handle. The nice thing is I can share peppermints with all my grandchildren and friends. I would not do that with tobacco.

Yep, Jim, that's about in my price range. The only problem is that I've never cared for any kind of mints.:D My wife keeps peppermints on hand, and I usually try one about once a year to see if it still tastes as bad as I remembered.

Sam's quit carrying the Brachs Starlights

Please say it ain't so:mad:. I bought my last 5 lb bag back in November '08. I always bring them to the office for everyone to share. We are about out and I am planning to go to Sam's this weekend with my wife IF it rains. I'll let you know if Sam's' in NC still carries them.
