1*Why buy 2 sets of the wrong tires and fuss with changing them back and forth for nothing.I had a short discussion in another thread, but thought I'd start a new one.
I'm getting close to buying a b7510. Will use it around the house (small yard) for mowing (not really needed, but will use when I don't want to push and feel lazy) and moving some dirt across my lawn. I have a project to where I'm going to be driving across my lawn with a bucket full of clay/rock.
Plus, will use it out at the property for digging, grading, bush-hogging, etc.
1*Was thinking about getting a set of turfs and another set of rims/tires that are R4's (industrial).
Thoughts? Would the industrial tires tear up my yard with a full bucket even if careful and on a hill?
Thanks
Get 1 set of AGs and avoid the hassle.
2*Neither do the AGs on myBX26 even with both the FEL & BH on it at the same and a 60''MMM. and don't mark my lawn is a bonus and better traction is another benefit.since this topic has been beaten to death, I'll tell you the truth.
2* I chose the R4's on my BX2350 because
I thought they looked cool as ****.
The fact that they work really well in the winter
The turf's just don't look good to me. Anyone else?
All this hype about AGs destorying the lawn is just that hype.
3* IE won't do either job rite.If you d0 decide to but two sets, I would skip the R4's and get the ags and the turfs.
3*The R4's are a compromise between the two, more traction than turfs and not as hard on the lawn as ags. If you want to tread lightly, use the turfs, if you got a lot of dirt work to do, use the ags.
4*If you only buy one set, Id get the r4's. It might be just a little harder on the lawn, but you'll be glad you did when it comes to loader/dirt work.
Personally i perfer the ags. But I do a lot of dirt work and firewood cutting/pulling trailers and logs. I also use it to mow my lawn, and if it's dry,
5*AGs dont hurt the lawn at all...if I take the loader off.
.
4*Nope go with AGs.
5*AGS are fine on my BXs even with 2 or 3 attachments attached.
6*I don't agree .Id go with R1's .It doesn't sound like blazing new roads will be you gig so as much as i feel everyone with a tractor needs
6*R1's you should stick to one set and go with R4's. Your loader work will go great and the lawn should not suffer if you pay attention to the time you do it.
