With Bush Hog having financial difficulties I wonder which (if any) equipment companies are also teetering on the brink. I have read parts of the epic Farmtrac thread so I am aware of those issues. I have also seen a couple dealers fold up in my area. I just wonder which equipment makers are also hanging on by a thread.

Also - does anyone know for certain what happens to the warranties if Bush Hog goes into bankruptcy or is acquired?

My Woods BB48, a 48 inch cutter cost me 1250. economy? Geez....I hate to ask what a heavy duty would of cost??? maybe I should have went to TSC?

There is a rather large price jump from the entry level BB to the medium to the heavy duty BB line.

Not trying to pick a fight, but curious, why is that (ALO) awesome?

Well, being owned by a larger company will HOPEFULLY mean no plant closures. The economy has bled enough, and hopefully the hard working folks will not loose their jobs.

Hands down one of the best on the Market PERIOD. AGCO/CNH/Kubota's larger loaders are ALO built, so it would be nice to see things go on as or retooled for ALO loader production in North America. They have a HUGE following up here.

No more job losses.... Please :)

Okay, I am outsider, but, also an insider if there is still globalization thing promoted by USA for years. Fine with that.

Having read posts in this thread, again, I arrived at this conclusion: Contradictions by Americans. Some folks still say "support manufacturers in USA". No problem with that, it's ok, but, then, this is a contradiction if you promote "liberal globalization in economy" at the same time.

Another thing I observed in the thread: Many people, I think, think here BH is in trouble. Hey, are you not aware of that more than 90% of manufacturing companies are already in trouble? Yes, it is really so. In a month or two, if you see many factories are going into banktrupcy, don't be surprised. Some mfg companies are hiding their truths and trying to "show" they are still alive. At least, some companies like BH are showing the truth of the stiuation.

What is the real problem? In my opinion, it can be explained simply: Just check a soccer player who was just paid 94 million Euro for a transfer or just check a basketball player who demands more than 20 million dollar a year. Can you imagine how many BH could be saved by these moneys? There is logic problem in economy system of the world and BH of USA is disappearing and Kobbe of USA appearing more. Somethings not wrong?

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to be "negative" or "arguementative".

Looks like to me another American owned comapny now a globally owned company.

When will it end?

I agree with you 100%. I'm pretty well fed up with the jocks that were spoon fed through college, can't spell their name, and getting paid millions to play a sport that's totally lacking in sportsmanship. What's the message we sending to our children? We have our priorities all wrong!
