You have to remove the 3 point to use the bobcat backhoe?

Yes. The backhoe is attached to a frame that pins onto the tractor underneath. The 3 point arms get in the way so they have to be removed...which isnt to bad of a headache but more than most want to do.

Well I got my tractor with rear remotes and backhoe installed last night. Sad part is it was dark when they delivered it, so driver dropped and left.

So while he was pulling away, I start tractor and jump on the back to run the hoe controls, so far seems cool. I leave tractor run for about 5mins and i run inside my garage real quick and come out to find oil pouring out of the tractor from under the seat where the hard lines are connected for the rear hydro lines!!!! I was sooooooooooooo pissed at this point so i call driver and tell him to come back and pick it up, he says someone will come out to fix today instead. I was out of town all day when i come home nothing, not fixed or even a call. So I had to call him and he said someone will try to come out 2morrow.

Now that it was light out I walk around the hoe, already being disappointed with the rust on my tractor, and find the hoe in horrible condition, bad paint and lots of rust.

So I have to say I am very disappointed in my Bobcat experience very much. I guess the little customer satifaction survey I got in the mail the other day is going to get filled out and mailed!!!

Don't accept it. If your dealer is worth a salt, he will make it right for you. Don't know for sure about the tractor, since you've had it a while, but I would absolutely call them up and tell them that you are not accepting the backhoe in the condition it was delivered. Since it was delivered to you at night, and no good way to inspect it, I'd tell them that you are refusing the backhoe, and want them to order you in a brand new one from the factory. If they won't do that, then I'd ask for a refund on the backhoe, and tell them that you will just get one from another manufacturer and install it yourself.
Bobcat is trying to break into a market they have never been in. I believe they are aware they need to put customer satisfaction as a top priority.

i am sorry to hear about your rust problem. i had a similar issue with my ct230 and after talking to my dealer and informing him that the tractor was not acceptable with the rust he and Bobcat took care of the problem. They both stood behind the problem and replaced it. I made them aware of the problem at delivery. My dealer was BobCat of Fredericksburg, Va. I believe the dealer has a lot to do with getting the problem resolved.
good luck

You know one of the problems is I have yet to see a New Bobcat tractor without rust, if it doesnt have rust im sure it will soon. It seems like they have no primer on them or something because they are rusting from under the paint, its like they just painted over the rust. So my question is how do they make it right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I have read, Bobcat does not use the same vendor for the backhoe as for the tractor. The tractor is made by daedong, which I think everyone is aware of, but the backhoes and loaders are made by someone different( I believe Rhino). I doubt that Rhino would change their paint process for the bobcat tractors.

What I don't quite understand about the paint issue, is the fact that these are built and painted right along with the Kioti tractors, and I haven't heard of the Kioti owners having issues with the paint. I wonder if the white just makes it so much more visible.

I work for a company that makes digger derricks, and aerial equipment for the power industry. Are units are painted white as well, and when new there is no visible rust, but after some time with nicks and scratches, the rust really stands out. It is never enough the be detramental the funtion of the unit, just kinda ugly.

Update, I had a tech come out today to replace an O ring in the rear remote block, he said they must have not ever tested it at the shop when it was installed!!! So he leaves and I decide to dig out a stump and it went rather well as far as the back hoe other than ofcourse it doesnt have enough power, haha. Then I turn around to pick stump ball up with loader and it wouldnt even come close to picking it up. Lack of serious power for sure. I can't believe what a dog this tractor is. One thing for sure is it should last forever cuz it dont have enough power to hurt anything, lol. Oh wait when i was trying to move stump with loader it blew an O ring on the red coupler of the hydro valve block. So @ 17hrs I have had not much luck.

Im gonna take pictures of the rust and send to Bobcat. Still dont know what they are gonna do to fix it, wish they would have painted it right the first time.
