Excuses to use your Bota

Just wanted to start a fun thread to find out, and maybe even "learn" some excuses that the folks on here are making just to use their tractors or even to get one in the first place . Latest post was a little girl using the BH to bury a goldfish which I think is so cool.

My "reason" for "needing" vs. wanting one was so that I wouldn't have to go through back surgery in a few years. So I use it anytime I have to lift anything over 30 lbs over long distances. I've used the loader to fill it up with water and take it to water my plants that my hose cannot reach. Easier than hauling 5 gallon buckets.

Today I bought 2 2400 lb pallets of woods pellets.

I have a tilt trailer, so I dragged the pallets off the trailer with my B7610, and then I put each one on my pallet jack to pull 'em into the garage. It is a bit hard to pull a 2400 lb pallet on asphalt, so I pushed 'em into the garage with the FEL. Once they were on the concrete floor in the garage, they moved much easier

I also stack my firewood directly from the splitter onto racks that I build from pallets, and then use the rear carryall on my 'bota to move 'em to the drying location along my fence (the picture was taken in the spring when I still had my B7100):

Excuses?
Does anyone really need an excuse to jump on the tractor?
I have even used mine to ride down the hill to my neighbor's house!!!
well- the road was a little wet, and I felt too tired to ride the ATV or drive the truck..

so-- excuse-- we don't need no stinking excuse..

Mine just gets plain worked. 400 hours in two years. It gets put to bed in the fall. I use the ATV to push snow. It took me many years for me to be able to buy my first Kubota. It was well worth the wait. It's pleasure to operate and maintain.

Well after mowing the pitch n' put golf hole we have in the back with the grandson last weekend I would have to say the excuse would ether be to build up the mussels in my left arm or the fact that it puts my grandson to sleep. (But then I have to hold him with my left arm!) Just glad I have the steering knob.

Same question my wife has asked me. My excuse was so I can get my honey do's done for her. She has not asked me again.....

excuses ? I am on the BX almost every other day doing something. mowing, plowing, tilling, brush clearing, dirt/rock moving/ wheelbarrow fel work, BH work ,even getting the mail once. Don't need any excuse. I just hop on, as long there is feul in the tank, I am happy.

I agree, no excuses needed, sometimes just walking by it in the carport prompts me to get on it and give it a quick ride down to the garden or down to the woods. I do work it hard when it comes to getting things done around here, but it needs to play once in a while also!! I love my L3400!!

Turn the compost properly.
Sometimes I just admit I'm trying to kill the grass.
Clear the snow out of the yard is another good one.
Or there's to "check on that thing/noise I noticed the other day"
