I called dealer today about wheel wieghts for my 3032e & he said this tractor will take max 3-60# wieghts perside @ $128.00 per wieght, that would be dang near 900.00 w/ tax for the 6 wieghts....!!!!!!!! Is there a after market versions one can get or am I stuck with JD on this one. I really wan't them as I don't like tying up 3pt w/ ballast box, I just keep box scraper attached most of the time. I have calcium filled rears also. The extra 360# would be nice for this light tractor.

$2.13 a pound - not sure how much I paid. I will see if I can find the receipt.

I bought 4 60# wieghts for my 2520 and they were about $1.25 a pound, plust the hardware for additional wieghts is extra.

Jandg,
Have your dealer check the price again because that is what the 110 lb weights cost me. He may have read the wrong column price in error.

I think you can set up an account and log into JDparts to get prices on everything. Seems to be very close to what my dealer has quoted me for parts. I have used it for a rough idea of the cost before going to the dealer.

Weights arent listed in JD Parts.....well, let me clarify....they are listed, but they are considered "whole goods" to which pricing is not available thru the JDParts site..

It's always more expensive to go Green.

I disagree. It all depends on what equipment and who you are dealing with -- at least that is the case where I live. Years ago, the local JD dealers didn't budge much from msrp, but in recent years, they will give hefty discounts. The local Kubota dealers won't discount much if any. You may be correct when comparing msrp's for equivalent model tractors. That's been my experience.

Far from it, it all depends on your location and the dealer. The local dealer advertises everything at MSRP, no knock off what so ever. That's why I buy my equipment at the Deere dealer that's about 1.5 hrs away in southern VA. One dealer down there was offering a 3038e w/ loader for 2 - 3k less than the local dealer was. Even if you compared the price of a Deere and Kubota, you'll find 15 different prices in any different location, with both of them alternating between high and low.
