Well....I tore some stuff up today

So you've twice knocked off the gray little engine cover on the side with the baseball size dents in it? I've never knocked that loose, my damage is to the silly low slung hydro filter and the steering ram covers.

I'm working on my cracked sunshade right now. Beefing it up to be bulletproof from behind, at least.

I feel like I hit the Lotto(yes I am easily entertained)

It was a trick to get it replaced without removing the radiator, but I did it. Finshed grubbing(carefully) and drove it to the shop where I removed the remnants of the sunshade. I started cutting some 1.5x3" steel tube but didn't have enough. It's off to the steel place tomorrow...........!!!!!!!

I remember when I took my DK 35 delivery. The dealer was going over some of the "stuff". I told him I couldn't wait to get to some brush and small trees out, (small stuff up to 3"). He said "that's not what its for! it's not a bulldozer!!) I told him " I know, my bulldozer is my Duramax!"

I work for the company that bought the two DK65s from Wallace and he "armored" them for brush hogging some nasty areas. Every time the guys head out, I remind them that these things are not bulldozers - they are farm tractors. I guarantee you they could tear up a bulldozer also. The more protection you add just gives a sense of more security and you think you can go through anything. Common sense needs to kick in at some point and sadly, this is lacking now and then. Sort of like getting stuck - if you think you might get stuck, stay away. I don't mean working a little to get out, I mean calling in a track hoe to retrieve a buried machine and the bill is...... let's not go there. Gee, I thought I could make it, I made it before.................

I have a dozer. It's currently at Greene's for sale(my Kioti dealer). I have even managed to poke a stick into it's rad fan too. No damage as it is made out of a really heavy metal. Grubbing is just brutal...on any machine(not to mention the limb/vine whips about the face and head)
Still working on the cage.....

About the only thing I bend is the tie rod. Most everything else is covered.
