kubota L2800 cab plans

ok i have 78 feet of 1 inch square steel tubing [and a few different welders] 5 4 by 8 sheats of 3/4 inch ply wood and 1 4 by 8 sheat of 1/4 inch plexy glass i look at the tractor and have no clue where to start or where to mount to. shoot me some ideas please!

I had a cab made and the only advice I can give is use a lot of bolts and good welds.

The on I had made rattled apart in short order and was a waste of money. You can't imagine how much how much shaking there is on a tractor till to see weld break.

ok im gonna bolt as much of it together as i can and if i have trouble with it coming apart ill weld the ends of the bolts because its not coming apart if im taking it off its getting hung from the barn roof with a come along

You might look at a B21 or L35 that has 4 post ROPS with a roof. Many rental yards will have a B21. I suggest you use something stronger than 1" tubing for the vertical posts. I would hate to see it crush down on top of you. I am not sure if I could bend a cab built out of 1" tubing to get out of it but I am pretty sure it would bend when you push the tractor up against a tree or if you rolled it. I have run the roof of my B21 into trees several times.

its a 1/4 inch thick so im gonna try it and brase it really well

Depends on how involved you want to get, I spent the entire summer building mine and still have a few things to do to make it complete in my eyes.

im willing to put sometime into it i dont got all summer but i got a week that i can work on it 12 hours a day. can you post some pics of yours?
