I'm looking to add rear hydraulic remotes to my CK25HST and wondered who might carry the Kioti kit and prices (& shipping to Buckley, WA 98321).

On another note. Has anyone had problems with the CK25 in-tank fuel sending unit? Is this a common problem? Mine shows fuel levels correct most of the time but occasionally goes to empty and eventually returns to normal after bouncing around on the tractor.

We stock the remotes and I will PM you with a price.
In regards to the fuel sending unit I did have some that were bad but that was a couple years ago.

I have a 2005 CK30hst and added both rear remotes to mine. Wallace shipped them out and gave me a few pointers on the installation. You can add just one but if you think you will ever need two, then do the job all at once if the wallet can afford it. It just saves time by not doing the same thing twice.
My original fuel gauge read wrong and when I used an ohmeter, it gave readings bouncing around though the gauges travel. Installed a new one that worked good but was off a bit. I bent the float's arm to get it to read better. Also, the float was sliding along the inside of the tank making it stick like you mentioned. A little more bending to the arm fixed that.

Hey Greenecho, Why don't you just run down the road to Jennings in Puyallup. They installed rear remotes on my CK20 when I bought my backhoe from them last year.price was reasonable and they are real nice folks.

That did occur to me but the last time they gave me a quote for a (uninstalled) kit, it was near $400+tax.

I'll have to take a peek at my float to see if it might be rubbing the tank. That would sure account for the erratic readings.

I have had one occasion when I was reading 1/2 full after filling the tank to the top. It corrected itself after some use but did not happen again.

On my DK40se I have noticed that there is some sort of time delay or time averaging on the fuel gauge. If I check the gauge right after filling it reads half full but ten minutes later it reads full. I just figured it was a 'feature' to prevent the gauge from bouncing around and giving temporarily innaccurate readings.

Victor...

Why would I need two remotes? Fill me in if you wouldn't mind.

My plan was for when I purchase a BH and I figured a single remote kit would fill the bill.

Thanks

You're right. The single remote will run the bh perfectly and is much easier than the hose kit requiring the operator to turn a valve under the tractor.

Two remotes would be if you were using a box blade. You could have top and tilt cylinders each controled separately. Or a snowblower with dual shute controls. For Winter, I use one, with hoses run to the front, to control my front blade and then use the other to angle a rear blade. It depends on what you think you may do with the tractor and the second can always be added later if you need it.
