And then, you don't even know if it has Chinese parts on it.

BigD23, I hope you don't drive a car. I am sure somewhere on it is a Chinese part....and clothes....

Deano

Ya know Deano, when I typed my earlier remark I knew someone would do a follow up such as yours. It's not rocket science that chinese parts are added to items at times. My statement was that I choose Not to buy things made in china .......Read the label MADE IN CHINA.

I am another who will not buy Chinese "goods?" (It should be "Chinese horribles.") Not to mention the Communist China still murders Americans, holds at least two American doctors who went there paying their own way to help the people; they are still in prison making shoes. They were accused of spying. Communist China *routinely* threatens the US with nuclear weapons. And on and on and on...

Thank you David M.

I am new here but can see that this post has spiraled into a US vs China debate. I hate to get more off the subject but I feel rather strongly about this. I personally make all the purchases I can reasonably make of US goods, to the exclusion of Japan (remember ww2 not just threats there), Korea, China etc... Sometimes there is no option. All of the SCUT are made in foriegn countries, even those with US company names on them. By that logic I purchased the brand with the best reputation when compared with price, and the availability and quality of local service. I will always purchase US made first, but sometimes it is not available or even remotely competitive in price or quality.

Your BX was built in Gainesville, GA. Lots of imported parts from India, China, Japan,...but more built in US than anywhere else.

Sorry if I made this into a slight debate and/or ruffled any feathers...Was not my intention...I'm only sharing how strong my feelings are about my personal purchases.

Well that makes me feel a little better. Thanks. But really has anyone else had trouble with the Kubota filters?

For me, kubota filter prices are a joke. Why pay $8 for a filter when I can buy another major brand (same internals) for 50% less? Not orange too.

The only filter that is OEM is the hyd filter until I find another.

Wow! They (whoever they is) want $8 for an oil filter for your Kubota? I don't blame you for not buying from them. Glad my dealer doesn't charge any where near that much or try to charge that much. Maybe you need to check with other dealers or online or just buy from where ever your buying from. The last Kubota filter I bought was about the same price as the off brand at a auto parts store. I believe under $4 but my memory may be off.
