Have the stock Deere pallet forks and added some welded parts to make them compatible with my 3 ph quick hitch. Couldn't get along without my forks. :)

I have a set of 48" pallet forks off a fork truck that I would sell. You would have to fabricate the attachment method to attach to tractor. I got them for my tractor, but I think they are going to be too heavy duty. I think I will find a set of 42" with a lighter frame. If any one is interested in buying in the NE Arkansas area, send me a message.

Thanks,
Bobby

I think I have made my mind up. After some research that got finally got done after months of toying with it I am going to buy the tractor side qa face plate from new Holland. the best price I can find is $556 in Pennsylvania and then it would cost a 100 or so to ship to me. Locally within 50-100 miles the best price I can get it is 587(wow sticker shock). I can pick that up so seems to be the best deal. as far as qa goes i have looked at several other companies and have not found any prices that beat new Holland and the faceplate doesn稚 stick out a long ways in front of the loader. I would like to get the pallet forks know and am going to see if by getting the qa face plate and pallets at the same time would help price ouch. I am going to convert my bucket and snow plow probably next spring summer but at least I will have the adaptor in case prices go up which they always seem to. If I get the forks now great, if not I can wait a few months and either keep looking for used ones or just go ahead with new ones
You won't regret going with the QA. I got my forks in Greensberg, IN, from an equipment dealer who sells lots on e-bay. Saved the cost, problem of shipping. It is very near me, but might be worth a day trip. I walked in with cash and made a very good deal. You can read about them here http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/153818-new-forks-what-your-favorite.html If you need info, PM me.

Since that post, I've added removing the mower deck from my Cub Lo-Boy to the list. I used the forks to lift the Cub by the front axle and gentle pushed it backwards, over the mower deck. I've spend decades using ramps to drive over the deck. Easy on, but a bear getting the deck off. With the forks, it was a 1 minute job.

My wife questioned why I was buying the pallet forks when I bought the tractor. Now she says she can't believe how much use I have gotten out of them! LOL! Pallet forks are very, very useful.

The skid steer quick attach is absolutely wonderful, as well.:D

I got them off of Ebay. I believe a new set is $139 with free shipping. They have been great for moving brush. I missed out on some new qa fork carriages (no forks) that sold for $50 each at a local auction. Kicking myself for not making a bigger effort to get to that sale.

the dealer called me yesterday and has a set of pallet forks he would sell for 450 they are from a bobcat he took in and it had two sets. He says they a used but he calls them excellent shape. They are 42 inch is that a good price and they should fit the new holland qa plate I assume

That could be a very good price if it is a nice heavy duty unit. You may want to get some more specs on the forks. They don't really wear out, but check them to be sure nothing is bent. As far as I know, any skidsteer QA equipment will fit the NH QA adapters.

Hey Greenthumb

That sounds like a great price on the forks, we paid about $700 for ours, they are 4400 lb and they worked pretty hard this year. Did not know we would be using them so much.
