I would say "Roughly" a pint of each, BUT it is truly to taste as is the sugar and vanilla.
If you want a bit more kick to it, add another splash.

Just had to take a LITTLE sip to see how my batch was aging. GOD Thats GOOD Stuff !!
The harshness of the raw alcohol is gone and it is very mellow and smooth. By tonight it will be perfect.

Mine involves a half gallon of Blue Bell ice cream.
I replaced the whole eggs with egg substitute and
actually like it better. It made it smoother.
1/2 gal blue bell homemade vanilla
1 qt store bought eggnog
1 qt milk
egg sub equiv to 6 eggs
1 cup powdered sugar
light rum to taste - start with 1 1/2 cups
E&J brandy to taste - start with 1 cup

Mike, With All Due respect. Store bought eggnogg ?? I don't know what brands the sell in your neck of the woods but any of the store bought stuff around here is like drinking milky syrup. Nasty stuff.
But, I bet the ice cream adds a very nice texture to the mix. I will have to try a batch using icecream.
I used to make White Russion Fraps using vanilla ice cream. good stuff !

Wont argue with the lesser quality
of mass produced goods vs true homemade.
But it is quick and easy and anything that
makes my life a bit easier. ... (note what we

Got some outside "chillin" in the snow... I had to "cook" my eggs, yeah I know paranoid...

I got some good Brandy,Crown Royal (I will probably save that for itself), Rum and some Kalua, going to try several different concoctions and see what is best, I am hoping a slight coffee flavor will be good...
