Dealer Heard of this dealer?

Luckily I am almost finished with the house pad, so I won't have to crawl around on that slope much longer. I am going to widen the stance soon. A ROPS did not come on the tractor. It came out of the container one day and I was looking at it the next day. I did not want a machine that had been serviced or painted. What I saw is what I paid for. I have been taking care of small problems and am amazed at how well built the machine is. The quality of the bolts, nuts and tight tolerances are not what I am accustomed to.

yeah i heard of this dealer i bought a yanmar 2000 from them. Then i found out it was a vietnamese reject, the guarantee was a joke 2 weeks for a part **** it took two months..and the owner John he is a joke even for a yankee...wish i would have bought some where else Harvardtwo

Yep but that info is NO good. All it indicates is the google maps. As you can see the url listed is a thread on tractorbynet. If you go thru it and click on the Southland url it comes up: NOT FOUND

Just wondering if they are still in business and/or have a website.

Maybe there's somthing wrong with their website / page , etc. The above info is good as it list their ph#. I just called & an answering machine picked for southland equip.

Southland Equipment as of early this year does not import anymore. That's why the website is unavailable.

Source: I called and spoke with the secretary, she told me they had plans to start again in the future but right now they are focusing on the other business that Southland Equipment Owner, Eugene, owns.

This was early this year, if I get a chance I'll find out, I bought my YM2001 from them.

Smoody thats the same thing i got in september, 09. They closed down one building and are still in the machine shop building. At that time they only had a few used tractors and a few implements. They were still selling what he picked up, no yanmars at that time either. She said the only chance is if he picked some up locally at auction or for a good price i guess but no plans on getting more at that time.

sorry to here all the troubles, i bought a 2210d two years ago from
rinehart tractor, 60 hrs later, not the first problem
