I had my 08 Silverado exactly one day and sunk it up to the axles in mud, had a load of cow dung in the dump trailer so we had to unload it and then it took two tractors to pull the truck and trailer out.

I had the side rails on the trailer and couldn't see the car in the mirrors. Just knew I was getting close to it. Got out took a look at the passengers door and there was a major hole in the door. Cost 2200 to replace the door!

She forgave me immediately not a real materials gal. Got the new door on and no one knows about the damage. We were doing a good deed for some people that needed firewood to burn, so I said I would bring them over a load. He had been out of work and little money. Goes to prove no good deed goes unpunished.

It is a 2001 Z71. Only has 30k miles on it. It has 5.3 auto. Near all options beside leather.

Nice looking truck. If you don't mind, what did you pay for it? A neighbor has a 97 with 168k miles on it that he's selling for 3500 that I'm thinking about buying.

If the truck is in pretty good condition I believe that is a good price! My truck stickered for $32,938 but it was on the road for like 30k!

My truck may be old and ugly now, but it's from lots of farm use. Besides, it was paid for in cash, and the next one will be too. Like Dave Ramsey says, if you go into debt for something that goes DOWN in value, you're just pretending to be someone that you're not. There are a lot of things I can do with my money that are better than lining the pockets of some finance company!
