What kind of Quick Disconnect is this?

I thought this was an ISO-A type connector from everything I was reading, but the shoulder on mine is flat, not tapered.

Here is a pic of ISO 7241-A from Discount Hydraulic Hose

Notice the tapered shoulders starting about half way down.

Here is my connector on the FEL (see attached file)

Also, what size would it be? With my calipers, I measured the first diameter after the face from the top to be .75" (19mm). It was just off .75, but that should be close enough to tell.

Do these restrict flow significantly compared to the ball type?

IIRC, a bayonet tip QD (such as the one in your picture) should allow more flow than a ball tip QD due to its physical shape.

Do you have the mating connector? If yes are there any part numbers on it? Some of these quick disconnects look very similar but do not interchange. Do you have a good farm store or implement dealer close by that you could take one of your existing components in to try and match them?

Pressure drop ball Vs poppet. For a body size there is very little difference in the two designs.

Some companies claim you can use ball style nipple and poppet style coupler but I have found that this some times don't work.

two common sizes in North America are 7241/1 series A and 7241/1 series B.

I could not find any dimensions in my Aeroquip or Parker catalogs.

I was comparing it to the ISO 7241-A in the first picture, but the shoulders are flat on mine instead of tapered. See where I've highlighted in the attached picture.

I'll get the numbers off the fittings and post them shortly.

Valve side (female coupler side) stamped with "1/38 SAE-03M"

Hose side (male side) stamped with "Faster NV38NPTM 03L"

I want to find the correct male end so I can order a gauge with disconnect.

With the dimensions there, you may be able to cross reference them to a US standard size.

Edit: It looks like they are ISO 7241-1A fittings. See http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/ISO_7241_1A_Hydraulic_s/280.htm for pictures of them. If that is the case; take one off, go to your local TSC, Rural King or whoever is near you and check that it will fit in the female side of the connector. If I am correct, it will interchange with "Parker 6600 Series, Snap-Tite 61 Series, Aeroquip 5600 Series (FD56) and all other ISO-A standard quick disconnects"

Thanks for the reply. This is also what I thought, ISO 7241-A (what is "1A"? Is it different?). My concern is the tapered areas (see my post, #4 in this thread)

After reading about others having leaks due to taper mismatches, I thought I need to ask.

Do the tapers not matter, or is this fitting different?

BTW Aaron, that's a good site. If you click the details on the individual item and also select detailed view of the valve, you get something like the attached pic.

Dimension "D" is what I measured with my calipers. 19mm for the smaller (FEL) and 20.5mm for the larger (rear remotes).

Anyone know about the tapers and if the standard ISO's will work?

Possible answer for interchange between Mahindra quick disconnect fittings and ISO A to ISO 7241-1A fittings:

How many do you have if its just a few I'd go to a good hydraulic shop and get some sets male and female that are "local based" and known source and replace both ends.
