Price Check Bought New BX1860 with FEL, 54" MMM and bar tires

Hi All

I am a new member and was reading lots n lots of info. It was very interesting so thought of becoming a member and share my experiences or ask questions.

I have a neighbor with BX1500 with FEL, 54" MMM and rear blade. I was always amazed with that tractor for what all he uses it, clears snow (and we recently had like 25") and helped neighbors. He helped me to pickup truck engine and move it around. He used the tractor to move wood when we cut the tree. So I thought it was so versatile to do so many things and ofcourse he mows the grass in 15 min.
I finally convinced my wife and she reluctantly agreed and I like the size of BX1860 based on where I live and what I do with 48" FEL and 54"MMM. I got a deal for 12,675 spanking new out of the door delivered to my driveway with 60 months 0% finance and yes he gave a free desiel can too 5Gal. Is that fair deal., From what I checked around in several dealers he beat every ones price

Just wanted to share and get your opinions although damage is done!!

Sounds like a fine deal. Got it at Byrd's, I assume?

I'm sure you already know this, but you're going to use the stink out of that tractor. And you already know how much you're going to enjoy it since you see how much your neighbor enjoys his.

Remember, a backhoe is only $5,500 away! My wife is as 'reluctant' as any and she has commented SEVERAL times how glad she is that I have all the stuff I have for my tractor. If you enjoy your backyard, it saves you some real backbreaking work.

Welcome and congratulations on a fine, fine tractor. In the 9 months we have had ours, we have never had a complaint. 'Tis a fine tractor in every respect. Maybe the best valued little beast, pound for pound out there. Best Wishes

I ordered mine and we're waiting for the 54" deck to arrive. I also have (will have) a BX1860 soon, with FEL and 54" MMM with mulching kit and weight box. I paid about the same as you :thumbsup:

Thanks all you, very informative site. I read tons of information and the most important I read was the thread about first payment with Kubota Financing. I was waiting for the payment coupon. Now that I know I will send the payment right a way without waiting for their coupon business
