A bobcat/ Kioti just isn't the same tractor, especially compared to the Grand L 40 series. They will be lower in cost than kubota.
So whats the big differences between them? Besides the Intellipanel that is...

I guess "big" difference is based on what you are looking for in a tractor, and some personnal preferences. HST plus, dual speed hydro. are a couple big differences to me. Depending on how you use a tractor, these are really nice to have. The intellipanel is nice, but I wouldn't buy the kubota just because of it. I like the rocker HST pedal on Kubota a lot more than the dual pedals on the Kioti. For loader work and mowing with RFM, I love the rocker pedal. I also liked the kubota backhoe a lot more than the Kioti/bobcat, especially how it attaches, plus it is larger for the equivalent size tractor. I do like the rear 3pt control on the Kioti, really handy for attaching implements.
I did shop Kioti/bobcat myself. Last fall Wallace gave me a really good price on a Kioti, I would have one now if they would have taken a trade. My local Kioti dealer pricing was almost as much as kubota, wasn't enough difference for me to switch. The bobcats I looked at the local dealer looked really bad, they had way too much rust for new tractors. the bolts were discolored also, like they were corroding. Maybe these had just sitting a long time, but I knew if I bought one just to save a few bucks, I would have regretted it.

HarlyJP, depending on where in NoVA you are, there are some L3240's sitting on the lot at Frederick Equipment. There is also bobcat and Kioti dealers close by.

Could be a short wait.

So far long is winning.. :)

Not that I'm in any big hurry though...

Now if I was waitin on a tractor that might be a different story.

Yeah, I am still waiting for my tractor too. The only thing they will tell me is that there are no mid mount mowers available. Supposedly Kubota doesn't have any anywhere. They can't even give an estimate of when mowers will be available. This is making me second guess my buying decision.

Hmm, sorry to hear about that. Seems everyone is waiting on MMM's. What kind of tractor/MMM did you purchase ?

I ordered up a B3200 with loader, hoe, thumb, wheel spacers, and 5' MMM.

Well hope they can find one soon. This is probably a busy time for them as well, as I think Brady is away on vacation this month. I'm sure if he gets involved he may be able to pull something out of the hat. You would think there has to be one of those things at a dealer somewhere...

Something else to consider, a B7800 MMM I think is only slightly different than the B3200 MMM. A dealer once told me that for about $150 they could get whatever was needed to make it work, so you may look into finding one of those. You might even be able to find a good used one. I recently sold an almost brand new one with a B7800.

Good luck !

Hello All,

Thought I would jump on while I have good internet service. I am going to spend Monday begging for mowers from some different warehouses and dealers. Kubota doesn't have a promise date on most of them due to the demand for the B3200 and B3300 but I am going to do my best to get these coming from somewhere.

Hope everyone is well and I apologize for the delays we've had had on a couple of our orders due to these inventory shortages.

All the best,
Brady
