Kubota Orange Paint?

For them as what's in Canada (like me), the Canadian Tire brand rust paint in "Zesty Orange" is pretty close to "new" Kubota orange.

Does Kubota make a paint touch-up pin? Toyota sells a small tube with what
looks like a ballpoint pen and then inside is a tiny brush, it also comes with a
bottle of clear coat. I noticed there's a couple spots on the rims that could use
a like touch on our L3940.

I've never seen a touch up pen for Kubota, but I'd use a broom and a five-gallon pail if I got the chance. No such thing as too much paint on outdoor machinery in my opinion..

I used some of the Kubota brand spray paint from the dealer, the spray quality was terrible. The paint kept pooling on the spray nozzle and spitting drops onto the work.

The Valspar Tractor & Implement spray paint from TSC goes on very nicely.

Lowe's has this Valspar "Autumn Crush" 65077. It's not their Orange, it is right next to the Orange on the shelf.

Not bad for $3.44 versus $11.50 for the Kubota paint.


As far as the two Valspar Kubota oranges listed on the TSC website, Manufacturers Number: 5339-27 and Manufacturers Number: 5339-24 , which one is the old and which one is the new color? They don't even give you a clue on the website, and the Valspar site is also no help.

I found this thread after I bought some of TSC's Valspar paint for $6.00 per rattle can.:mur: I will check out Valspar Autumn Orange at Lowes today.:thumbsup:

BTW The TSC cans are labeled "old" and "new" with new being the #5339-27.

Tried to get some Kubota orange paint (spray can) from TSC here in Maine, and the stuff's been pulled off the shelf in at least 3 of the stores, in Maine. Folks in the store claim they don't know why, just told not to sell it until further notice.
Also called Lowes and asked about Valspar "Autumn Crush" 65077, they don't have it on their shelf
and the #65077 is not in their computer data base.
I guess Walmart's Orange Chevy Engine will be my next try.

WOW, that's weird. I just bought 2 qts of it here in Texas. Please let me know if you find out why it was pulled from the shelf.

Both of the Kubota Orange and Husqvarna orange paints were pulled, but there were a few other colors pulled too.
AC Orange was still on the shelf along with
most of the other spray can Valspar Tractor paints.

I was looking for spray cans of paint and did not notice if Qt. cans were effected or not.

I am not sure it is legal to paint a King Kutter with Kubota orange - If it is it really shouldn't be :laughing:
