I finally got a backhoe. Can not use it yet though :(. I still need to look for the frame mount for it. Spend time power washing and painting black some of the area. It will not stay on that color very long since I will paint it "Bobcat Orange"... Have some scrapes on some of the hose but no leak. I temporarily conected it to the PTO... boom, dipper and riggers works and this is where she is going to stay until I get the frame . I will drain the fluid and change the filter this week. What kind of fluid should I get? I went to TSC and look for fluid but I did not find something like what OE recommend (type "A" or "F" ATF). TSC is closer than dealer . Anyone can recommend what to use or what TSC sell is okay? Attach are the pics after washing and painting the cylinders and riggers black....

man that support system looks sorta like a widowmaker to me, I suggest you support it a little better before you or someone else gets hurt

I gather this means you will continue to use the PTO pump instead of
your tractor's hydraulics? If so, lots of hyd fluids are going to be fine.
ATF is reasonable and inexpensive at Walmart. Did you see any rust
under the tank breather cap?

Is Woods now making a subframe for the CT2xxs? The loader is different
from the Kioti loader, so I don't think you can use the Woods subframe for
the CK30/35. Without modification anyway.

If you can buy a subframe, you will want to lower your hoe before attaching
it. Just rest the bkt on the ground and put 2 of your small wooden blocks
side-by-side under the main frame. I see you already have the boom
lock hooked up, so it will not fall over and squish anything.

Woods does not make a frame specifically for ANY BC's but I just ordered a BH-80X and have been told the subframe for a Kioti will work at least for the CT2xx's.

I hope that is the case.

I remember several weeks ago when I started a thread on a BH that Wallace mentioned he thought it would work also and they were getting ready to try to put one on in few weeks. Maybe he will chime in and tell us if it works.

I know I would be interested in knowing how it turned out so I will know how hard it is going to be to get the subframe to match up with my 230.

Yes, I was waiting for his response, too.

The Kioti's FEL is much narrower than the Bobcat FEL, which changes the
forward mounts for a hoe subframe. I used the handy FEL subframe "ears"
for my CK's forward hoe subframe mount, but my hoe subframe is
custom. Woods probably uses these mounts, too. Bobcat has no such
ears on their FEL subframe.

WALLACE: Nice photo. Did you use the Kioti subframe from Woods?
Modifications?

Just curios as to why Woods does not list it as a Kioti/Bobcat subframe

That is a good looking tractor Wallace. Mine should look exacly like that if I can ever get this guy to send the hoe to me! The price was good but so far I am unimpressed with the service. It took over three weeks to get the thumb from Woods and they were supposed to put it on Friday. Still no word on a ship date yet. I had my Dodge truck special ordered new in 2005 and had it in less than three weeks!

I wondered the same thing so I asked that question to a Woods tech on one of my several calls to them asking questions (because the salesman I was buying mine from favorite answer was "you should call Wood's tech support, they will know more than I do") and both guys I talked to almost sounded mad when I told them I was putting it on a Bobcat. Both of them said we do not make a subframe for BC and we can not say whether or not the Kioti subframe will work. When I asked when they would start making them for BC they both said due to their resources, there are no plans to engineer a subframe for BC. When I mentioned that I was told by a couple of different people that the Kioti subframe would work their response was "well someone has taken it upon themselves to modify a Kioti bracket then". Really, they have to know it works or at least have looked into it. I would think it could only help their sales if they would just add Bobcat to the Kioti subframe!
