Availability of Kioti parts

Ok, so parts shipping seems readily available. What kind of shipping costs are usually charged for small things like filters and for larger things like say, a 3p hitch arm ?

Phil

Depends on how it is shipped. I got my new CK35 from Oregon a couple of years ago and had it shipped up to me. Have ordered a bit of stuff like set of filters from him in the past 2 years. Got here in days and I didn't think it was expensive. Was not a problem with customs. You do have dealers in your area, I would contact one you feel comfortable with and then deal with them. :)

I've been breaking things for a long time and almost 1000 hours on my Kioti. Most common parts are easily and cheaply bought and shipped just as soon as the dealer can mail it. Some parts that need to be ordered can take months. Seems the oddball parts need to come from Korea, not even made until you order it and not shipped until the container is full.

I suspect that most Kioti dealers have had this experience on the less common parts. Is this still the case?

For example, I've broken the little 3ph stabilizer machanism a couple of times. The deal that keeps the arms from swinging into your tires. The part was 10$ but it took about 2 weeks for my dealer to get it in his hands.

Most dealers will drop ship.
We bounce between using UPS and USPS depending on size and weight.
Any way you look at it if it comes from the dealer it's typically 2-3 days.
If from Kioti it's 4-5 days unless ordered next day.
Parts have never been much of an issue for us as far as supply goes.
With so much being made elsewhere all brands have a shortage from time to time.

Could they not just take one off an existing machine they have it stock and ship to you same day, maybe make that suggestion to them next time. :)

No problem getting parts

Shipping is no different than any other product shipped it will cost what ups or fed ex or usps costs

They have enough presence that I'd not let the parts thing bother you bobcat sells them now also

Who'd have thought that Saturn or hummer or others would go away

While I have gotten that level of service, I believe that it is asking too much to expect that a dealer pirate parts from a yard machine. I was just glad that it was only 10$.

No problem getting parts in my experience. Some folks might like to be able to drive 10-50 miles to a tractor dealer but I prefer (strongly) to just make a phone call and wait for the UPS guy. Saves hassle, gas and time. It also allows me to deal with TBN savvy dealers who I know through this forum rather than dealing with parts staff. I find the dealers are more than willing to help via email or phone.

We ship parts daily and use the USPS flat rate boxes. If you are going to purchase filters, as an example, buy a set or a few things at a time. this cuts down the item cost. We shipped parts from New Hampshire to Alaska (about 20lbs) for $10 in a flat rate box.
Don't be afraid to buy a Kioti for lack of parts. That has not been a problem for over 10 years. I know some competitors still use that against us, but it is no longer true. I am not saying that you will not have to wait for a part from time to time, but that happens with every company.

I also have had no problems with a couple small things along with filters over the last couple years. Shipping has been reasonable and prompt.

Like others have posted, we sell daily over the counter, along with USPS and UPS shipping. Our experience for parts that we order from the warehouse is well over a 95% fill rate the same day. It's one of the reasons we carry KIOTI Tractors. They are the OEM.
