Tractor
home made
Hi, I'm a total tractor newbie but after reading some of the two wheeled tractor thread, I thought I might fit in. Even if I'm a bit alternative!

I've made my own two wheel tractor for working in my woods. It's under constant development but it's looking like it'll work pulling a loaded trailer in and out. I've yet to try it log pulling.
It's a real quick bodge job but great fun to make and use.

Welcome aboard. I'll say it before any one else -- you need to post pictures of your two-wheeler.:)

I have been curious about TV programming in the UK. One of our cable/satellite channels, RFD, carries a show titled "Vintage Country Ways" from the UK. It's one of my favorite TV shows. Do you have other shows focusing on agriculture, rural life, etc.?

I've covered the making the tractor on my blog. There video of it's first test on this page.

I've sorted a few bit since then with the engine it now chugs along on tickover.

Steve, I've never seen "Vintage Country Ways" I'll look it up. There is regular news and cuurent affairs programe "Country File" and of course a Radio program, country/farming base soap "The Archers" This has been running since the 1950's. Lots of recent BBC content can be seen, heard on-line. Hope this helps.

Cheers
Andy

Andy,

Great blog and video!! I admire your creativity and resourcefulness.

Your work deserves more attention than it is likely to receive under this thread in the "New Member Introductions" section. I suggest that you start a new thread over in the "Projects" section. Use a title that will give members an idea of what you have been up to.

Again, welcome to TBN. I look forward to reading (and watching) more from you.
