Just went thru reading lots of post on HF, I have had good luck there.
1" impact w/6" extension and sockets for 150$ how can you go wrong.
I have a driver that constantly spins the wheels and rips out the stem. Used the 1' and he cant NOW My tire guy came by and loved it went and bought one for his truck. the IR is over 600!!

I have two of the $3.99 float chargers and they seem to work fine. I keep one on the tractor during the winter, and the other on my river raft battery during the off season. Good idea to check the water levels once/mo.
Another good HF product is the diamond honing plates - I was able to salvage a pair of 99 cent HF scizzors that my wife had ruined.

That is good you were able to 'salvage' a 99 cent tool. :D

...and it only cost $12.99 (or whatever that honing tool costs.) :D:D:D

Are the triangular diamond sharpening stones any good? I need something like that for the kitchen. I bought HF's cheap imitation 'corborundum sharpening stone' and it's definitely third-rate. I was thinking of going to a local tool house to buy the real thing.

I posted on here awhile back about getting the 1" earthquake impact wrench, I allready owned the 3/4". I am happy to report the 1" works fine with no issues.

Another good HF product is the diamond honing plates -

Not sure if the same product but I bought the medium sharpening diamond "stone"(plate?) on sale--always and only on sale---and it works like a champ. Worked so good I went back and got the coarse one to re-shape a knife tip I had accidentally and stupidly broken off. Wow, what a time saver.

The triangular one is OK in the kitchen but a tapered round one I already had from years ago works better. The coarse is OK but you must also have the medium to smooth things out. I have the fine but only use it sometimes. If you have never tried diamond sharpening stones they are worth it.

In the kitchen I cannot believe how dull the knives had gotten. Amazing difference.

The diamond sharpening hones I used were the three piece set I bought a few years ago before they had a store here. It is still available and is $14.99. They come in coarse, medium, and fine, but the fine is still 360 grit which isn't very fine. Item # 36799.

They now offer a four sided diamond honing block with the grits going up to 600. It is on sale for $8.99. Item #92827. I'm tempted to get one with my 20% coupon.

Use water instead of oil and they seem to work ok for everyday stuff. My wife is rough on scizzors whenever she opens up a hay bale. She blames it on the hay saying that the twine is too tight.

I vote for Dargo for member of the month, and he can tell us all about his history with HF...:confused2::laughing:

I have the tire changer with the motorcycle attachment and it has done a good job so far. Also the 4" angle grinder seems to do the job, even though it goes against all better judgment to buy anything with a plug or a switch from harbor freight. I have also purchased an oxygen sensor socket that does the job as well as a seal driver set.

I just picked up a solar shed light today. I'll have to post back when I've used it for a while and know how it works.

Solar Shed Light

Here's my review on the solar shed light: It doesn't suck, but it's not really a home run either. I installed it in my shed that doesn't have power run to it. It's nice to have a light there in the night when I'm looking for something, but the light is very dim. It's better than nothing and worth about what I paid for it ($15.99 on sale after 20% coupon).
