This is the valve I use with my grapple... a true third function valve, very easy to install, and it works great...

Jer,
By any chance do you have a link to one you would recommend? I'm a little slow on this and it helps to have pictures.... I can't help it.... I'm Swedish......

Greg

I'll dial you one in as soon as I'm at my computer. In the meantime checkout Fasse. They sell things as full kits.

I don't know WTF a 'deprectated browser error' is, just click on them....

My project is piecemeal'd to be what i want. My grips and switches are from otto (Deprecated Browser Error). Valves can come from wherever - "cheap" Italian (Hyspec) or "American made" (Parker, etc)..... for twice the price. Hoses and QD's, also from wherever. The hydro shop that's installing my system kinda whined a bit about not buying 'their product', so as a show of good faith I bought their Parker valves.

My grips and 6 switches cost me about 350$, valves are about $300 each (for Parker - about 200$ for Hyspec).

Here you go:

By the way, don't ever feel 'slow', this stuff is complex.

Read through this, I think it'll help:

Lemme know if you have Q's, and i'll answer them as best I can, and add them to the post I linked you to above.

"Your doin' a great job Jer, I am just sitting back enjoying my coffee..."

Yes.... You all are! And I am sitting here enjoying my coffee..... for a couple more minutes and then I have to get to work so I can "hopefully" afford some of this great stuff. Dang... you guys really are good at spending other peoples money ..... and putting additional pressure on the CFO. Hopefully you won't read about this in the paper...

Thanks,
Greg

I'm willing to bet you have a Markham grapple, not a gator.

I'm sure you've been told, and you may think, that they're the same thing. They're not. Trust me.

Jeremy. Yes they are the same. The only thing that has changed here is the staff. Everything else is the same. If your not happy I asked you last week to call so we could make you a satisfied customer. It really is unbecoming to try and discredit us here. AGAIN, when you order special items over the phone sometimes you make mistakes which we all can do. Please call us and we will be glad to replace or fix what is needed to make you happy.
By the way we have been Gator Attachments since May of 2009. Guess someone forgot to tell you.

Thanks

Julie, is your shop in Denton? I bought my grapple from rootgrapple.com and when I was looking at them it seemed that lots of them were made in the same town. Y'all know each other down there?

Yes we are. There is a running joke here that they all originated from one. Either from a divorce, or someone employee starting there own. LOL . Not sure why that is. I to work here and most of us are family. Even the previous staff that was here worked for our current owner at her previous company. You know the sort of industry if someone gets upset they can go down the street and go to work for the competition. Let me know if I can be of service to you. I am new to this industry as I have a background in buying for the healthcare funiture industry. Wood products so I am learning alot! But it has been really interesting to say the least.
