Did battle over the nail gun: First the clerk complained about it being over the 30-day policy. Next he tried really hard to sell me the replacement plan since he thought the replacement would probably brake too...:laughing::confused2: I guess the employees don't even have faith in their own products...I also picked up: a tow strap, a hex key set, a 4-in-1 hammer, and a file set.
Oh, and I also stopped at Sears to make three exchanges and got $65+ of replacement garden tools for free!!! :dance1:
The new nail gun is just like the last. Maybe the instructions are what's broken...:confused2:

I also have a Drill Master 9.8 volt cordless drill that has been pretty good although it does emit a burning smell when I use it...

I'm doing some electrical work that requires drilling holes in tight spaces. This drill is surprisingly powerful for its size. I'd say it paid for itself in the first use.

I went to HF yesterday and loaded up with "free" stuff. I didn't know about the one free item per day deal. I checked out and had to leave behind everything but the free screwdrivers. Went to the car and had my wife go in and buy the last thing I went in for, and she got the free gloves for me.
So, I bought 2 items, got two items free. Not bad.

At my HF they have several cashier lines. I use one, then the other. Got a nice clamp and the good set of screwdrivers.

Roller wheels on sale. :thumbsup:
If no one has mentioned it yet, I get their swivel roller wheels (5" I think) for shop equip and a couple rolling workbenches. Also for a rolling dolly in the basement.
In the past I used maybe 10 of them under a platform to roll around a 1000 lb rototiller. For that much weight it worked but was a little sluggish. Other uses work fine.
Also, I have some rolling 4' x 8' storage tables I made for the basement since my wife was always piling stuff where I wanted to be. Now I just roll the table away. They hold a lot.
The wheels ride on needle bearings with insufficient grease (no surprise there) so if I have any real amount of weight I take the center bolt out and slather in some grease first. Wheels are on "sale" all the time so I would never pay retail price.
