I don't need to wait for the sport to grow to give a safety analysis.

I personally wouldn't call it a sport either. JMHO

i just watched that, and i've gotta say... that's 3 minutes and three seconds of my life i'll never get back again. i was hoping for something comical, or maybe at least a big crash where someone ran the family jewels into a tree or something... but that was... really boring.

i suppose it's my fault for venturing into the safety section. pretty much every trip here leaves me feeling frustrated.

Just keep watching for the 'sport' to grow, you'll see all kinds of injuries and some deaths.

The rider on the 4 year olds toy is at the mercy of the motorized vehicle operator.

Geeze, tough crowd, maybe if I had laid there long enough she would've run me over on the second pass, sorry to disappoint.

I guess with all else that is out there the bar is high.

Lostcause apparently wants to see carnage, I on the other hand do not.

Why does the kid on the four wheeler have a helmet on, but he kid being dragged doesnt'?

I found that tying a piece of plywood to a rope and dragging kids around in the mud is a lot more fun and probably quite a bit cheaper.

JoelD,

I think that some of these guys didn't realize that their legs were being pulled. We would use the hood off a junked car and an old VW bug to do the same thing, and no, we didn't have helmets! Oh, and I think we reached about 10 mph when the hood got to hot to set on. Snow causes friction! Who knew! :p

We tried skiing behind a bug once, with the weight over the back wheels those things went surprisingly well in the snow.

Funny the hood got hot, wouldn't thought of that.

Yeah, the kid on the snail definitely should have had a helmet on, particularly considering the amount of rocks we've got. I'll talk to his dad about it later today when I see him for lunch.

Have a great Holiday all.
