This case has now clearly turned into a veiled threat situation. I wouldn't deal with this guy any longer. He's shown the color of his stripes and deserves no consideration whatsoever. I wouldn't even insult the MF rep's intelligence with this case. Put his tractor back together and give him 24 hrs. to remove it from the premises or pay storage charges. The guy has no case legally or factually and knows it, hence all the threats. Kick this POS situation down the road.
I agree Mike. His warranty is expired, end of story. I had to replace my front tires and didn't expect Kubota to do it. I was out of warranty. The fact that he is implying threats of retaliation, well, I don't see a reason to try and help him. He is a user, not a repeat customer.
I am a bit taken back by those on the forum that feel MF should stand up and fix this out of warranty problem? Why? Is that what you expect when you purchase a tractor? Life long repairs for free.
