Wow! Like I said...many will keep believing no matter what the facts may be. I agree...Death panels are another good example. It is called end of life planning and you should be sure to discuss with your kids if you are the elder generation...or with your parents if you are a younger generation. Make your wishes know while you are still of strong mind and in good health...that is end of life planning. That is not "Death Panels"...but sure has been a powerful "slogan" to get the masses up in arms...no pun intended...that is a different day...FWIW...out of here...TMR

The Obama administration has done a lot of lying about a lot of things. Lying and misrepresentation is their strong suit. 'Death Panels' is a subjective term that many agree with in the context of what the obamacare bill provides for.

I personally think that some of the hoaxs are planted by the Obama administration so that they can be picked up by people who think they are getting accurate information so that those people can then be discredited later.

Hey Dave...as I said...I am an equal opportunity critic of those who present falsehood...or even blog statements of "truth" w/o some level of curiosity...ala "death panels" that are going to pull the plug on Granny.

I agree that there are many either falsehoods or gross overstatements floating around from the left.

I am pretty much a moderate conservative wanting the public debate to begin to demand facts...rather than sound bites and election material...from our politicians, media and yes...even those of us who..."didn't say I agreed with it just thought I would post it here". That is how falsehood becomes some peoples "fact"...you know...say it often and loud enough and it becomes "fact".

Just my reflection on the history of Bob's posts regarding the Health Care Law. I figure since the posts are usually about something that doesn't exist, he has as much chance of being right as wrong, if he is just plucking stuff out of the virtual air. Some how, he keeps beating odds

You are close to one of my pet peeves - news people will hold a mic up in front of someone and present them with a chance to tell bald faced lies. They don't challenge the liar, just pretend it's news.

I could hold a mic up for someone - but then I am not a journalist or newsperson by profession - and most of the 'mic holders' aren't practicing those professions either. They give anyone a free stage to promote whatever nonsense will fill time and lead to a follow-up 'mic holding'. I understand it is expensive to support investigative journalists, but it looks like broadcasters will stoop to any level necessary to avoid paying for accurate content. Rant off

Why belittle me...did you actually read my original post ? All I did was post a For Your Information item I had received in an email from my wife's cousin...I never said it was fact and I said it was new to me...I was looking for comments...
