Why spill it into the street?

Because that only works for a few weeks in a climate that gets 100"+.

Most property owners don't want snow plowed into the landscapes either.

A decent company with a little sense and a plan could snag that contract anytime, make more money and get the snow cleared quicker.

Well I am amazed that my simple question spurred such a debate. I have never seen on of these machines before but I am impressed at the speed and power. My work could totally use several of those machines and operators.

You have to get it away from the curb because a box plow can't trim along a curb.

Then they need a new operator. No reason it cant run right against it.
