In a nutshell it's a powerful base model tractor. No frills,no bs. You could even argue that it maybe the best bang for your buck tractor that JD offer.

I added a few photos to help illustrate the tractor in action. The 4105 did "all" the back filling on our new house. They were three huge piles (posted only one) of topsoil I had scraped off with a D6. It handled them with no problem. It was alot of fun, I mean work :D

jenkinsph,

Yes we finished it a little over a year ago. I actually bought the land from a member of my family (uncle). I'm also pleased to say that the 4105 resides at his house!

Our house sits where the old farm house used to sit.

Pay no attention to the Orange thing in the driveway. I just realized it's the only finished photo I have :D

But she is not 100 % on board with me . I only use a tractor a few times a year , but I am getting some side jobs lined up . I do need a tractor , but do I need a $16,000 tractor ? I am buying one to keep ,, my Ford 3000 has been with me for 15 yrs , selling it and getting 4x4 with loader .

You do know it is up to you, your money, your choice. good luck with the decision.

I think this still holds, we can comment on the tractors but I don't think anyone in their right mind would try to decide whether to buy or not, again good luck with the decision.

LOTS of flower :p. I drive for UPS , I live on my route , so most people have 3-20 acreas . Alot of gravel driveways , so I am getting side jobs, grading driveways with new Big bee Soil Mover. So I hope I can make some extra cash to offset my new investments .
