Why do they call it tourist season if we can't shoot em.
:laughing::laughing::laughing:
We don't have tourists around here, but I can see how you could feel that way. Your links didn't come through, try again if you will. I'm interested in looking.
You can do a lot of nice beach walking in the Old Orchard Beach south to York area. Check out Wells and Ogunquit, both have great walking beaches and lots of hotels to choose from. It's not Mid-coast, but nice. Good food too.
In June, the ocean water is still pretty cold. It only gets up to the high 60's on the best days in August :laughing: The beach walking is still fun and very relaxing.
Dave.
Thanks Dave, I had originally thought about Southern Maine. Close enough to possibly visit Boston. Looks like I could use a few more weeks vacation, that and a bunch more money.
We visited Maine once when I was a kid. I remember the water being cold
Polo.. Google Camden Maine,, you won't be disappointed..
hr3,
Camden looks great and it's close to Acadia. Also not far from the Southern areas. Thanks
You could drive by where the Old Man in the mountain .. was.. or Bar Harbor Maine ...and go to Acadia National Park. Look at all the gas that was just saved.
Acadia does look beautiful, Marty, and Bar Harbor looks like a lot of fun.
