OMG! It reminds me of that SNL skit, Appalachia ER where the guy is always coming in with something that "accidentally" got stuck in his butt.

I don't get it, why did he say he had no choice but to lie there and take it ???

Years ago when I worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft,
two employees were fooling around with an air hose. They
were promptly fired and walked to the security gate. Compressed
air in a human body can be fatal. You couldn't even blow
stuff off your clothes. That would get you docked for several
days.

You are right about that. An older guy I work with went off on us for fooling around like that. I was much younger and dumber. But his lesson stuck with me.

Many years earlier this same guy was on a jobsite with a trailer air compressor. One guy was messing with another while he was bent over. Stuck the air nozzle in his *ss and it killed him. Ruptured his insides.

Needless to say that was it for me. Now I'm the one yelling at people about it

Those things scare me, I use to have to tend one on a job site where we were sandblasting. Big 6 cylinder diesel. The tank and pump would get so hot, I was always thinking it was gonna blow up.
And those big 1 inch twist coupler hoses, once in a while they would come apart at the couplers, and whip around like all heck. I've heard about people getting killed with those.

My old boss would slaughter a lamb or goat once in awhile and use air pressure to separate the skin, those things would blow up like a balloon, was pretty grotesque.

That isn't what I expected to read, that's Crazy! He was very unlucky and lucky all at the same time.

This gentleman is lucky he didn't suffer more injuries then he did.
Although getting stuck in a buttock seems humorous, it was probably lucky that's where his skin was pierced. Elsewhere on his body could have been lethal.

Some of you guys joke about this incident. Low pressure air is dangerous. High pressure air (>500 PSI) can easily kill.

Ever had one of those air injection innoculations (if you were in the military you have)...that's about 600 PSI.
