Butler is the holy grail for the American Austin/Bantam/Jeep crowd.

A couple of years ago, enthusiasts from all over the world converged on Butler to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the plant...

The Bantam 60 was advertised as 60 mpg and 60 mph.

Papasmith,:)
What tractor or tractors do you own and operate?
hugs, Brandi

Hi Brandi,

I own a Mahindra 4500. Thinking about a 4 wheel drive unit about the same size.

Papasmith, I couldn't find the tool that allows me to see how many people are viewing this forum. I look at it every day of the year.

Just go to the main Forums page. Scroll down to Mahindra Tractors where it has the, Mahindra Owning Operating or the, Mahindra Buying Pricing, selections. It will tell at any given moment how many people are viewing.

As of one minute ago for example, it was 23/13 for Mahindra and 30/18 for Kioti. Every time I came to the forum, I noticed that Kioti and even Bobcat lately had higher numbers. This is why I asked my original question when Mahindra has the world's largest sales figures in tractor units.

The answer seems to be that though Mahindra has a large world wide market, they don't have the market penetration or the interest of potential buyers in the U.S. of the above two makes. A second possiblity, mentioned by someone in this thread which seems reasonable, is that owners of CUT's seem more likely to participate in these forums than owners of larger tractors. Kioti, at least from what I can see, seems to be big in the compact tractor market.

I recently got back on to TBN for our mahindra 2810. need to login more often. Now that I have more spare time I'm tossing around the idea of posting pics/how-to of any repairs I make. I have done this on car forums and it seemed helpful to others.

Our 2810 has had mostly just leaky seals. Did one rear axle seal a year and half ago. the original seemed to be installed backwards according to the service manual. took chance and installed the new the way the book showed. It hasn't leaked yet.
