Texas Heat!

Here is my home place ... 40 acres. By looking at the photo it was taken before I built the new barn, put the pool in and the garden is not in ... I'm guessing maybe Nov or Dec 2011.

When I zoomed I could see the cows, mules and horses in the pasture. I've been taking a look at my hay fields as well ... Bing does a good job.

Well, he did put a laughing icon after that remark. I just think he was surprised how somebody from Ohio could locate my place on Bing maps and know such details. You know that I don't mind you showing those photos, so all is good. Thanks for your kind words.:)

Yep. I was just joking. I meant it in a good way.

BTW you know from our private conversations that for someone to say I am stalking you is idiotic.... " Ignorance is bliss", I guess.

I was just joking with ya about the stalking. I know you weren't actually stalking and didn't mean it in a mean way. I meant it in a joking way.

Sorry if the joke came out wrong.

I just pulled up my place on bing but no fotos at all for here. How does bing compare to google earth for fotos of your places?

I use Bing to look at jobs prior to going to the actual site. You have to pay attention sometimes, some of the zoomed in photos are actually old where if you zoom out a tad they are newer. It does seem that Bing keeps the maps more up to date and their "eye" level feature is neat on a city block when it is available.

Looked at the temps for this week and it appears like more of the same, HOT

Chad,
Apology accepted.
We know other folks are lurking in the background and don't need to give them any wrong ideas.
Thanks,
Ron

Rick,

Did you look up in the upper left of the page for Aerial and Birds Eye views.

I attached the Birds Eye view of Kodiak International...maybe giving to much credit to the airport.

When I go to bird's eye view at my place, the photo jumps back 5 or 6 years. It's like entering a time capsule. The same thing happens when I look at my hometown. When I zoom all the way in to the highest resolution, suddenly it takes a 6 year leap back in time. Evidently all resolutions haven't been updated to the latest photos.
