Ed, that is what we have at the farm, maybe not same brand. I spread 10 acres in about 5 hours, this past Sunday. It holds comfortably the 7 1/2 50 lb bags of nitrogen I just spread on one field. I know it says 500 lbs but I would think that 10 bags would have some spilling out the top when I hit the bumps in the beginning, but you may not have that problem in a flat yard. As far as wind I was spreading stuff the size of b-bs, at my recommended speed and setting in the post irene gusts (18 mph) and didn't notice any discernible drift. Ours sits pretty low to the ground.
Now my 2 cents on seed, I use the county Ag no till drill, the amount we would spend on spreading spun seed is astronomical in comparison to $20/ day and $4 an acre to rent it from them. We use less seed that way. Not saying you shouldn't do it, just want to give you another option. Watch videos on it, I am ok with a little roughness on my fields , you may not be ok with it on your lawn. Good luck!
