Local dealership gave me .25" fuel line.
Now that's got to be the wrong size.

What size should it be and where do I get it ?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions where I can get small screw clamps for the hose ?

the ones on there are a nice size.

Yeah, I need to do that.
I can take the spare filters I have to a parts store.
Last time I did this it was interesting.
Ended up with 1/4".
At Kubota, I ended up with 1/4".
A side by side comparison shows it's not 1/4".

The fittings on it are sometimes spring clamps and sometimes work gear clamps.

This means to me that the hose is metric and the clamps are critical.

Probably work gear ones all around would work.
Metric diesel fuel line at Pepboys might not be available.

What I really really want is OEM.

But what size is the hose ?

My best guess would be:
8mm ID which is very close to 5/16 and you would play heck trying to measure the difference.

8mm = .315 5/16 = .3125

If 6mm here is the size comparison to 1/4"
6mm = .236 ID 1/4" = .250

I think 8mm is a good guess too.

There is a company near me that sells fuel hose that looks pretty good, I'm going to take a filter there and see what matches it.

Why are you replacing the fuel hose? was it damaged?

None of the hoses appeared to be damaged, but who can tell.
Some of the clamps certainly are compromised.

I also want the fuel hose for testing and for draining.

I don't mind if I don't need it, but I don't like it if I don't have it.

Nope, this isn't a lot of trouble.

So far, I've had to adjust the brakes, replaces the half front drive shaft for about $110, replace the fuel filters.

I think it probably just needs new clamps but I'll probably replace some of the fuel lines just in case.

A lot of trouble would be the transmission is bad or the engine is bad. So far this has been just stuff that should have been fixed by anyone who owned it.

As it says in my signature 1300 hours.
