i wear a pretty full beard too.. but shave a bit on the chin, upper cheeks and neck ( cheeks on the FACE by the way.. )

I used to use After Shave ...stopped in the early 1980's and now I can't stand the smell of any after shave or men's cologne on anybody...I think I have developed an allergy or just a revulsion to it...especially if I have to shake hands with someone and then my hand smells like after shave...I have to hurry and wash it away...the smell of it also stays with me for hours after the person leaves....I don't know what happened bu I changed somehow...

I have also noticed in my doctors and dentists offices they have a sign not to wear any body scents, colognes , aftershave or perfumes for your appointment...

now that's one thing I do. after apply aftershave.. I always wash my hands. i don't want everything I touch.. including my breakfast to taste like skin bracer..

Soundguy.....I hate that has happened to me...I use to like aftershave, my son wears it and many of my friends....maybe I could get some benefits from the American with Disabilities Act...:laughing:

Not aftershave ... but how about the waitress that has that terrible strong "musk" like perfume?

Or a woman who walks past you at a store and it's so strong it takes your breath.

My 74 year old neighbor is an aftershave user ... on day I picked him up with the gator to go look at the hayfield and when he sat down I commented on the smell ... he said touch me and I'll slap heck out of you !!!

yep.. I have smelled some ladies perfumes that take your breath away.

I have also had people walk by me that either:

1, had on too much cologne or perfume, so much so that it ws painfull / difficult to stay around them without throat closing off, eyes watering and coughing, or

2, wearing sooo much ben gay that my eyes burned and MY knees and elbows 'felt better'

Where I used to work, I'd come in and get on the elevator up to the 4th floor where I worked. Sometimes there'd be a half dozen women in the elevator too and my head would be spinnin' by the time I got to my floor.
