Do you think in a few years the 'NH' will be dropped from CNH? Too much duplicating, and Multi branding?
Maybe the tractors but not the hay equipment line or skidloaders.

NH hay & forage equipment has been available at CaseIH dealers In CaseIH colors for about 10 years. The only models CIH doesn't sell are the few they didn't want. They just need to quit buying the NH decals and paint colors and it's all gone, just like that: CaseIH only.
If you think corporate bean counters place any value on percieved brand loyalty by customers, check what has happened to the IH, Oliver, Allis Chalmers, Case, Minneapolis-Moline, and Ford brands.

NH is getting of the heavy dirt equipment side. our NH construction sales guy jsut came back from Kansas and the NH construction plant for training and they announced that the only construction equipment NH will have is skid steers, backhoes, box blade tractors, and excavators. No more dozers or big stuff. The ag side though..........no worries.
So the $64 question is, will NH ag dealers have sales contracts on all those machines, or will there still be a Construction sales contract for the new limited line?
There is a lot of NH hay equipment around here towed by green tractors. A lot of these guys wouldn't even think of going with a CaseIH.
jdbnh said:I think that is jsut about everywhere it seems. i have a bunch of customers and also just driving around you see green tractors new and old pulling NH hay equipment and if you ask guys around here why that didnt buy Case, they almost always say it was junk years ago and even though NH is producing it now, they still wouldnt buy it just because it feels like an after thought to them. NH has a great name in hay equipment and so that is what they buy. parts and service in our part of the country also seem to be better on NH.
