What is the most useless piece of equipment

For my, my most worthless piece of equipment is my box blade. It does nothing as well as my other tools, so it is a stand to hold up scrap metal. I should sell it, but that would mean storing my metel someplace else. Maybe when I build another storage building...

The most useless piece of equipment I ever saw grace our place was a 3 pt hitch scoop- the one that dumps when you pull the lever. Never did find much practical use for it.

HEY I have one of those that I used on my Jubilee and it sure was handy. I keep thinking about hooking it up to my 4210 and seeing how useful it is with 4wd and PS....:laughing:

Aside from the 3 point scoop I just mentioned, I have a Dearborn 2 bottom plow, a 6 foot disc, and a 5 foot bush hog. Have not used any of them since about '93, have no idea why I keep them. Probably for the same reason I keep the '53 Jubilee that needs to be restored....:laughing:

Don't wanna say its useless,but the one that gets the less use for me is my boom pole(square tubing).I even painted it purty JD green hoping one day a "greenie" with deep pockets would see it fall in love with it and buy it. Its a World Agri Corp/ International.

The most useless item I ever bought was a rotary hoe with a three point hitch. These were used back in the cotton farming days to break up the crust that formed before the seeds came up. I had the mis-guided idea I could make it into an aerator with some modifications. Didn't work. It was too light and would not punch a hole very well. Anyway, gave $100 for it 20 years ago and still have it. My wife has asked what I'm going to do with it and always tell her that we'll need it if we ever plant cotton.

Same here except we actually used it farming, but now it is just sitting there rusting.

BTW : Most of you's know it already but for those that don't.
Around some parts of this great land( USA )they call a dirt scoop a " thumblebug ". Just in case you ever hear that word and don't know what there reffering to.

Since I don't have a FEL my dirt scoop, dirt slip, or whatever else they are called is one of my most used attachments. The most useless for me would be a 3pd PHD that runs off the PTO and cannot be reversed. A hydraulic PHD would be useful. My box blade with TNT hydrulics is the cats meow.

My 3 point rototiller....hardly ever need a use for it..and it cost me $2,200 when i purchased it.

Yeah everyone has different needs and methods of working their land. Also depending where there at.
Interesting though along with FEL,bushhogs the one I use the most.
