How much fuel per month do you burn in your tractor ?

I thought i was going to use alot this winter snowblowing...about 8 gal per day of snow moving....but we only have had 2 days of snow this year.....this sucks.

ill revise this post if we ever have any snow

I use about 15-20 gallons a month in winter.

January - April about 130 gallons.

Spent over $1100 in diesel in June and July.

About 1/2 that much in August and September.

October maybe used 20 gallons, November none bought.

Mowing, road maintenance, snow plowing and gathering fire wood averages me about 5-10 gallons per month for a year. Is much more if I need to run the pto genset (rarely) or with heavy snow months. This is running a L3400 HST.

The only problem with putting mine in that category, is the fact that my tractors are gasoline, or have you found a way to make gasoline?

Never thought about it. Winter time not much but in the spring/summer/early fall we fill the the skid tank when ever it's gets low, maybe 200 gallons ??? guessing for several tractors! All of our diesel is for farm use so we don't have to break it apart for tax reporting!

Going to track it starting in January. Need to do a spreadsheet up.

I love that set up. Is that home made?? Care to share the details??
