I don't think you can say for sure it's a copy. It's a pretty basic concept.

Kennyd, what can you do for a Kubota BX2660 where the top of the bucket lip turns up instead of being flat like the Deere? There is only about an inch up there. Mike

Hey Kenny. FWIW....if you come up with a good marketable product....I can almost promise you that others will copy it.

In the past I had many patented products.....and the jackals still would copy 'em....sometimes right down to the flaws....and then wonder when you sent them a cease and desist notice.

In the case of an UN-patented product....you just gotta take it as a form of flattery! :laughing:

At a John Deere factory we had a bad shaft in a big air handler unit. The bearings spun and wore some deep grooves in the shaft to make it unusable. Instead of ordering a new shaft which would have taken a month to get we had the tool room make a new shaft for us. We went to pick it up a couple days later and they copied the old shaft right down to the worn in grooves. People are great at copying. Just give me something good to copy :laughing:
