I'm taking off the loaded rear wheels for the first time and I've a plan to get them back on again (I hope).
The bolt/nut head size is strange (15/16"). 24mm does'nt seem to fit so well. (?)
I took of the lug nuts which were very tight. I started on the bolts but they seemed impossible to loosen....then I noticed that the four bolts have a large L in the center of the head. Could these bolts be left hand thread? Normally the L is an indicator of this. The lugs are right hand for sure.

Anybody else have left hand thread rear wheel bolts?....or is this a duh? Or does the L mean something else?

The bolts are right hand thread and use a 24mm socket. Sometimes the heads are a little undersize to allow the use of a universal lug nut socket or 4-way wrench. The L you are referring to is actually a 7. This is a reference to bolt hardness and in this case is a metric grade 8.8 and the equivalent of a US grade 5 bolt. I am not sure why but you will see them stamp 4 or 7 on a lot of metric automotive bolts.

No the L doesn't mean Left hand thread. That's usually indicated by two hash marks either on the edge of the bolt or at far corners on the head. Other marks on the head are usually hardness marks or manufacturers own marks. I'm pretty sure that's some kind of metric sized head, I've not found any non-metric bolts on mine. I had to use an impact wrench to get my bolts off, might try that.

It should be right hand thread...
is it an 'L' or a '7' ... your right L normally indicates left hand thread, but I can't imagine why they would not use common hardware...?

15/16 is the nut size for a 5/8 bolt or threaded rod. KennyV

You're right....it is more of a 7 than an L. OK...I gotta try harder with the wrench. I'll add some pipe...

I least I know the right way to go.

Thanks guys!

Impact gun if you gave access to one, would make life easier.

If not I have used manual impact(w/impact sockets) with great success where breaker /cheater bars wouldn;t even bulge them.

So are the bolts and lugs actually 5/8" ?

I assumed they were metric?

I have a B7800 and an L4300 and neither fits a US size exact. Same with an M8950. I did buy a metric socket for the L4300 but can't recall the size. It was not an easy discovery and when I was done realized Kubota makes lug nuts in a "close enough" metric size so you can use a SAE socket. I believe the US size would be OK to use. My guess is it would be a common car lug nut size since Kubota tries to make things easy for the basic maintenance.
My L4300 is probably the same size as yours so if you want I could go out to the barn later today and check the size.
