The tree looked good and I saw no space reason requiring it to be cut down so maybe he was removing it so it wouldn't unexpectedly fall on his home. He was successful in that respect. Was this the guy who committed suicide with his chainsaw?

I said that before until I went into the woods with a self proclaimed "moutain man" from the city(NY that is). He actually was trying to cut a tree down behind me while I was trying to clean up what was allready down. luckily the tree went to wrong way and got hung up. It looked like a rabid beaver on crack had attacked that tree, never seen anything like it. He claimed to know all about felling "HE READ A BOOK" :laughing: sometimes ya just can't fix stupid.
