Deals on new diesel Superduties???

A friend told me some regional dealers were really discounting new Ford diesels, and Ford was offering a substantial rebate and zero% financing. He said they even had some 2011 still on the lot. I'm not sure if he was correct. Anyone been dealing lately for a Superduty and if so, what's the going price? It may be a good time to get one cheaply. My '06 has 190,000 miles

You want to do some research the fuel filters do not block the water, and when it gets threw it destroys the high preasure fuel pump the lines and injectors, $12,500 in Canada to $8,500 in the US and you pay Ford does not cover that.
The valves are cracking from the outside to the middle, then the face falls off. they cover that.
The engine transmission puts out more HP and torque than the GM yet they loose the hill climb tests.
The engine brake is a joke, you want to go to pickups.com and read the rumble in the rockies story.
They do have a pretty interior.

Could be. All the dealers drop the prices on truck when they do not move. With fuel cost going up this summer the deals will get better and better.

I have heard of some guys around here getting great deals on GM's, Dodges, and Nissans but the word is the Ford and Toyota dealers are not so willing to deal. I am sure that will change as inventories grow.

it may be a deal now but be prepared to grab your ankles couple years down the road with that in-house mystery motor. I too wanted a new ford until this new in-house deisel came out. Not same international engine as your 06. Why i opted for an 2011 cummins ram. Always ran good w/ no bs in our peterbilts back in the day:thumbsup:

My local Ford dealer has some pretty good deals but they're also a volume dealer with a couple hundred vehicles on the lot.

Anyone in the know wouldn't touch a FORD diesel right now. It's a lemon.

190K it's just broke in good

put another 60 on it at least..

I assume you are talking about the 6.0/6.4? If you are talking about the 6.7, specifics??

Yeah the 6.7 diesel has major problems with HPFP failures and water in fuel taking out whole engine. Big law suite coming and recall. It's junk. See this? Not good
